Today I was randomly pinging through design agency websites. Seeing what people were up to. Hitting google and generally sodding around on the internet… when I came across this. Russell from R&R web design claims that he has the solution for overcrowded and badly devised websites and that this is his solution after reviewing every other agency site out there… PLEASE open this image and actually read the copy. Please post into the relevant sites and together we can get R&R Web Design to the top of the Design Charts.
I have been keeping an eye on the development of Photoshop CS5, and although it is still a fair way off (expected release is April 2010) there is a few exciting features that are looking like they will be included -
I apologise for the corny commentary, but I think the new features looks pretty cool. It seems they have incorporated the Puppet tool from After Effects which I have always thought would be a nice little feature to have in Photoshop. Though I do cringe at the thought of some of the new Photoshop disasters we will see once the hacks start “having a go”!
On the photoshop disaster note, I recommend checking out Photoshop Disasters for a smile or two to see exactly the kind of mistakes that should be avoided when doing any creative re-touching!
We are super excited to be attending the Stack Overflow Dev Day at Kensington Town Hall tomorrow. It will give us developers at We Love a chance to mingle with other coding masters and pick up a few hints and tricks.
Came across this rather interesting competition which posses the question what would society look like if the internet was switched off. Would it be as simple as just turning back the clocks prior to broadband… and what of the brands that have raised their mega-heads over the past 10 years, how would they cope with the change…
I have included one example here, but to have a good smile. Click Here>>
Found a rather interesting video on media usage on the Creative Social Blog…
Thanks to Isabelle…
Only today while looking through my browser history did the thought strike me about the sheer amount of webpages we skip through on a daily basis. We’re hurtling forward so fast there’s barely a chance to take stock of the breath of information we digest (or ignore) every hour.
A week doesn’t end better than this. We are proud to announce a new relationship. After what we believed to be an impressive initial pitch we entered discussions to service a multitude of L’Oreal Active Cosmetics brands. It is now confirmed that We Love is to become their creative supplier and be a part of its digital creative roster, sitting beside the likes of EuroRSCG.
A high moment for We Love – Being 18 months old and securing yet another global client. This proves that our hard work to date is starting to yield results and that we will be building upon an already strong portfolio.
Congrats to all involved. We look forward to working with and for L’Oreal Active Cosmetics and all it’s Brands!

We Love is proud to become a creative supplier to West Kent College.
Leonie Paris, ex-D&AD, and team have briefed us to create a 20 page strategy document to support top level college structure and directive. We look forward to adding an element of spice to what are normally rather dry productions.
Here is to the long term support of future education.
After a busy few weeks working on this project, ‘The Pier’ is now live and bouncing… It showcases properties at Ingress Park (a new Housing Development by INplace), situated in the beautifully regenerated area of Greenhithe. The website has a pop-up, papercraft look and feel, combining the old with the new, highlighting some of the key features the development has to offer. With Ebbsfleet round the corner and bluewater on your doorstep, this development helps open doors and create opportunities for people from all walks of life – a key differentiator in an over saturated market
The launch party was a great success and although we couldn’t have bouncing space-hoppers scattered around London as part of the guerrilla marketing campaign (mainly for legal reasons…), we were able to sneak it in on the website! Already this campaign has generated plenty of interest and the properties are selling almost as quickly as the ones for Grand Ocean.
