And so, as we start the new year, fresh faced and rosy cheeked, still reeling from the Christmas revelries, we say goodbye to a valued member of our team: Dan ‘I’ve gone to Wales to do things up mountains’ Wells.
With us for nearly 18 months, Dan started life at We Love as an animated and exuberant individual. Taking those first enthusiastic steps along the path of his design career, Dan approached every project with vim and vigour. No matter the deadline, no matter the task at hand, he was irrepressible.
However, after a year and half of producing cracking designs for campaigns such as GO Grand Ocean, Life’s a Bounce, Dan finally gave in to the dark side. We were never sure when the rot set in. We believe it may have been something he harboured all his life, nurturing and cosseting it’s vile nature, letting it suckle at the fears of others.
And what may you ask could turn such a legendary individual? Well. If you were to challenge his colleagues, they would shudder, shade their eyes and point to the hills, muttering something about ‘the great outdoors’. It would appear that Dan left our slice of LCD lit heaven and rambled forth into the world of daylight and nature.
Good luck to him we say. A man must follow his dreams – even if they are not digital 
Dan. Your lightening speed, your perfect layers and polished designs will be sorely missed. But most of all we’re going to miss the fact that you still owe us 183 cups of coffee, damn you! (although I believe it may well be 182 now…)
