Last week, myself and Mark went along to the .net awards party at Ministry of Sound. With the promise of a free bar (tasting much nicer knowing Microsoft probably footed the bill), music and food, it was sure to be a good night. The awards themselves were presented by Jack Whitehall, who to be honest I’m not a huge fan of. In his defence he had a few good lines and got the crowd going.
As with award winners, everyone has their own opinion. Some of them I agreed with, some I didn’t really know much about and one or two wasn’t so sure about… BBC News winning “Redesign of the Year”? After the presentation of the awards, we spoke to a few friendly faces but it seemed some people just couldn’t bear leaving work alone… even while queuing for food.
