Let me Google that for you!

Google has been a household name for some time now, the brand sharing the same status of association within the search engine sector as Hoover too vacuum cleaners.

But Google continues to not only expand their business interests, but also invest heavily in refining its existing commodities. In doing so pushing the boundaries of what is possible and laying down the challenge to its rivals.

The latest development from the Google lab, is the new capabilities of the image search engine functionality. Presenting new avenues in making it simpler to find the correct results to your search.

“We at Google will not be happy until we make the web as easy to flip through as a magazine” Amit Singhai (Google Fellow, and the head of Google’s core ranking team)

The new image search functionality enables the user to drag and drop an image across into the browser search field, automatically updating the search results with images that Google believes are appropriate to your request. Here at the Manor we found the results to be hit and miss, but the potential is mind-boggling and we are confident that improved refinements will allow this technology to blossom.
