Oxford Development

As part of A2Dominion’s first foray into developing in Oxford, the brochure and offline collateral for Cornerstone Court needed to be distinctive and characterful. It had to capture the individual nature of the property, yet also combine with the elegance and diversity of modern day Oxford.

Our solution was a concept that played on structure, life and architectural significance. Rather than settle for translating this purely to a graphical execution, and plumping for the reactive standard of A4, we tied the concept integrally into the brochure’s physical format.

After rigorous testing - mostly involving oversize sheets of paper and clusters of confused looking printers - we found a multiple brochure/wallet combo that carried the unique values of this unique property through to it’s final realisation. The result, an offering that stands head and shoulders above the competition in a marketplace saturated in mediocrity and sheepish complicity.

Q1, 2  and 3 next year will see all of A2Dominion’s Oxford developments marketed through a wide range of cross channel activities - the next exciting installment due by end of next month. We’ll keep you posted :)

Happy Xmas Everyone

Hi all…

Its been a busy run up to Christmas for us. We have won some new work… and delivered some cracking projects… (yes we will blog them and add them to the folio when we get a spare minute)… and have some interesting conversations on the go with some very interesting companies…

So… before you all break for what I hope will be a great Christmas of family and Bond films and a (with luck) drunken New Year… Heres to you :) Thanks for your support. Thanks for your interest. Oh… and if you want to see a great Christmas card… click the link:

Gestaltung Interiors Goes Live

Heres to the launch of a small but rather lovely project for We Love.

Gestaltung Interiors is a London based boutique, offering not only quality design consultancy, but also the project management that ensures a job comes in on budget and is snagged to perfection.

The brief: to create an evocative site with a minimum of graphical devices; emphasising ’Gestaltung’, the Germanic word for design and our client’s staunch belief in control and efficiency (values we hold dear to ourselves) .

We Love designed and built the site with a restrained and controlled use of papervision, adding spacial depth and beguiling beauty. By using a single red bar that intuitively incorporates the brand, navigation and content through simple and effective animation content delivery, we created a digital presence that successfully positions Gestaltung Interiors, holding true to their core values and ideals.

We Love to design the Creative for Major Players

We Love has been chosen by Major Players (THE recruitment company for the creative industry) to provide the creative for their new website after a 3 way pitch.

Lets look forward to a prosperous and creative relationship.

New Relationship with the BCC

Quick email to announce that We Love will be the digital agency of choice after winning a 5 way pitch for the Bromley Christian Centre… a leading and forward thinking group of guys… A leader in the church community.

Tasked with providing a multi-faceted online solution to help them grow and interact within their community. We look forward to working with them all in the long term.

JimBob the Builder

After Jenny at INplace kindly asked me down to their latest development in Brighton, I quickly donned this seasons building de rigeur: flourescent vest, hardhat (at a somewhat jaunty angle) laser specs and rubber gloves. Nice.

Originally opened in 1938, The Grand Ocean Hotel was a perfect example of ’30s architecture. Bought by Billy Butlin in 1953 it went on to become Brighton’s premier holiday resort. 70 years later and it’s being beautifully restored to it’s Art Deco prime and offered to the public as high spec apartments.

We Love is lucky enough to be designing INplace’s website and all offline collateral for this development. We’ll keep you posted on this exciting project (set to go live in January) and any emerging trends on the building fashion scene in the interim.

In Place Chooses We Love Creative Agency

Yes another week, another new win!!

Well we must be doing something right. Be it our experience, knowledge, skills or just damn good looks (OK, thats enough now, we all know you look like a camels arse. Editor)…

We Love is proud to announce that we will be working on strategic and brand development, web design and build (online / offline / ambient), media buying, and generally helping In Place be much much better in their communications on all levels.

I can’t go into all the details now… but I will keep you updated as and when. It’s going to be sweet :)

Growing Relationships: A2 Dominion

We had a good meeting with A2 Dominion last week regarding their sales plans for the next few months and where to focus our attention and flex our creative muscle. As we always bang on: We Love isn’t media specific. We apply ourselves to solutions that support our client objectives. Be it digital, print, motion, exhibition, etc, (see the website)… we are there to ensure consistency of creative, streamlined project planning and management… basically make sure everything rocks and goes tickity boo. Which it always does :)

So for A2 Dominion we are starting with an immediate need of some brochure material to support a new development in Oxford followed by:

1. Supporting upcoming A2 Dominion developments in Oxford (online / offline)

2. Creating an online strategy which will support their overall activities and be cost effective whilst blowing them away with design

3. Viral / guerrilla ideas to support the marketing communications on a brand and development level.

Exciting. Much looking forward to it. Keep your eyes peeled.
