Sorry this post is a little late… Just a thank you and I told you so to a few people who thought I would collapse after the 1km mark!

I want to thank friends, family and colleagues at We Love in supporting me run the 5km race at Hyde Park for the charity Cancer Research. I alone raised a whopping £285. Thanks also to my cousins who ran with me and dragged me along the way! …

A massive well done to the other 16,000 people who ran the race at Hyde Park that day! Looking forward to next year!

FInally I have signed up to join the Race for Life event and contribute to Cancer Research. Having lost both my father and recently an uncle to cancer, I was determined to do something to help the cause.

The event is taking place at Hyde Park on the 19th of July. I have two weeks and a bit to shape up! This is going to be hard considering I even get out of breath when I walk from the station to the office -(15min walk!) haha this will be fun!

I know times are hard with the credit crunch and all but I’m sure you might have a few pennies to spare.
