The campaign we concepted, design and built for InPlace developments gets appreciation from the design community this week. Yep it made it to StrangeFruits…

The site, ‘Life’s a Bounce‘ which showcases properties at Ingress Park, Greenhithe had a tremendous effect on generating overall interest and awareness as well (most importantly) fuelling an increase in overall sales. Within 2 weeks 20 properties had been reserved.
Result for all parties involved.

Its been a while, so I thought I would take the liberty of giving a brief round up of whats happening here at We Love manor. It has been an extremely busy couple of months.
We are busy interviewing for a tip top developer and project manager to join the family as we are growing (as per plan…) and thus have had to organise more space to house the talent – taking another 1000 square feet of this glorious building which we call home (including the fabulous butlers lounge!!) – Well we will need somewhere to put the table football.
We have had an extremely busy time pitching into some fabulous brands, some of which are looking extremely fruitful, so keep an ear to the We Love grapevine for breaking news. The big news this week is of our new relationship with L’Oreal Active Cosmetics. We are busy working on the Vichy Consult site as I type.
We have launched a few sites over the last two months as well as developing games for English from England and next week are due to launch a couple more… again stay tuned for these extremely wonderful and groundbreaking babies… We have produced a new brochure for an exciting housing development in Brighton for InPlace and one for West Kent College (a new client of ours I am not sure we have shouted about yet).
We have continued to deliver for Mobix / Seachange. Unfortunately, due to contract I can’t share the work to date with you, but I can say that it will alter the way you consume media in the future. Very exciting and a long / strong relationship has been formed.
James has been busy defining a new breed of tweeter… strangely called a grunter… this being the cool people of the twitter world… after visiting several tweet-ups. And we are hopefully getting approval for some seriously cool virals for another of our long clients.
Gav and Mel have fallen in love with Python – the future of development – after visiting some geek fest in the big smoke.
Last, but by no means least… our new website. It will be with you soon. And yes it is going to be magical. I can’t wait!
Well that’s it from me. I hope you all have a weekend for of scary love. Happy Halloween!
Mark

After a busy few weeks working on this project, ‘The Pier’ is now live and bouncing… It showcases properties at Ingress Park (a new Housing Development by INplace), situated in the beautifully regenerated area of Greenhithe. The website has a pop-up, papercraft look and feel, combining the old with the new, highlighting some of the key features the development has to offer. With Ebbsfleet round the corner and bluewater on your doorstep, this development helps open doors and create opportunities for people from all walks of life – a key differentiator in an over saturated market
The launch party was a great success and although we couldn’t have bouncing space-hoppers scattered around London as part of the guerrilla marketing campaign (mainly for legal reasons…), we were able to sneak it in on the website! Already this campaign has generated plenty of interest and the properties are selling almost as quickly as the ones for Grand Ocean.
BOUNCE!! Move in a different direction

After a nail biting reception and dinner last Thursday at the Affordable Housing Awards (Victoria Park Plaza Hotel), Sarah Beeny presented the award for Most Innovative Marketing Approach to ourselves and our client INplace, for our integrated creative and strategy for the Grand Ocean development in Brighton.
Going up against stiff competition in the form of London & Quadrant and Sentinel, the decision was reached by the evaluation of a number of criteria, most importantly that of measurable results – including sales, and customer satisfaction and engagement.
Needless to say we were absolutely thrilled by this – our thanks goes to everyone who was involved, both agency and client side: particularly Jenny, John and Debbie for trusting in our conceptual approach; and Dan, Mel and Gav for pulling the whole thing together.
See examples from the campaign, or visit the GO Enjoy website and blog.

As you can tell from the photo above, my restraining order restricts me from immediate contact with Sarah Beeny… but I notice John getting remarkably close…

The face of victory…

Following hard on the heels of our recent success for INplace, GoGrandOcean.com – short listed for Most Innovative Marketing Award in the housing sector and LifesABounce.com (damn empirical ROI is a hard one to argue with!) our latest task is to promote the charms of another of their Brighton developments.
Gardener Road is an exciting new (environmentally aware) development at Port Slade. Consisting of 44 properties in the heart of Brighton’s Surf district… Oh yes indeedy… this wave is mine

It’s been a few months since Jimbob the Builder made his fashion debut on the Brighton housing scene (to much critical acclaim), but the Grand Ocean development is now almost fully built and ready to hit the Sussex market – so without further ado we welcome you to www.gograndocean.co.uk
We Love, tasked with overseeing and implementing a cross-channel campaign for the launch of this prestigious, landmark housing development, designed and developed brand and all on/offline comms for INplace Housing Association, around a central concept of 1950’s, ‘Breaking the Rules’.

These are not the finished items and as such pricing and textual content is purely indicative.

The property’s colourful heritage and 1950’s Butlins roots, provided wide scope for an alternate line in property marketing. The result, GO Enjoy, is a concept that cheekily contrasts and compares the lives and values of yesteryear with those of today – extending strategically through:
- a website and brochure that break away from the traditional presentation of floorplans and interiors, and welcomes the user into a rich, intuitive environment that engages and informs;
- contextual outdoor advertising in the form of high impact 6-sheet posters, playing with situationally relevant messages and themes;
- guerilla use of apartment window graphics (still to be revealed);
- and a plethora of local media activities – revolving around our slightly risqué themes – plus a few tricks and treats to be revealed over the coming months… (Redcoats!!)
We’re looking forward to a highly successful outcome to this campaign and will keep you informed on further developments and activities as they’re implemented. In the meantime, Go Enjoy – Live the life, break the rules

Commissioned to design a cost effective / multi-purpose brochure for INPlace housing developers we created a generic folder for mail outs that can hold up to six inserts (specific housing brochures) and sub brochures.
The generic folder / sleeve included a window allowing prospects to see an image of the development for which they had requested information, helping associate brand and product. The sleeve also featured a cropped top third to allow the use of colour coded inserts, i.e. Toad hall is Magenta, helping to further the individualism of each delivery.
A simple and cost effective solution delivered.

After Jenny at INplace kindly asked me down to their latest development in Brighton, I quickly donned this seasons building de rigeur: flourescent vest, hardhat (at a somewhat jaunty angle) laser specs and rubber gloves. Nice.
Originally opened in 1938, The Grand Ocean Hotel was a perfect example of ’30s architecture. Bought by Billy Butlin in 1953 it went on to become Brighton’s premier holiday resort. 70 years later and it’s being beautifully restored to it’s Art Deco prime and offered to the public as high spec apartments.
We Love is lucky enough to be designing INplace’s website and all offline collateral for this development. We’ll keep you posted on this exciting project (set to go live in January) and any emerging trends on the building fashion scene in the interim.
