2010 has seen our good relationship with global brand L’Oreal continue, with lots of new work coming our way.

Here’s a quick break down of what we’ve been up to:

Vichy VIP

We created a Vichy VIP page where you can register to find out about new products and receive invites to Vichy events. Once registered, users get the chance to complete a FREE online Skin Health Consultation and receive a sample starter kit in the post. For more information and to sign up for your Vichy VIP account visit the site.

VichyConsult Tool

The VichyConsult Tool offers new generation skin diagnosis and an easily accessible map allows you to find a Lloyds Pharmacy with a VichyConsult Tool in your area, where you can receive a free skin health consultation to determine the right skincare regime for you. To find out more view the site.

Advisor of the Year

The Annual Dermo-Advisor of the Year competition got off to a great start with this special feature.

The Dermo-Advisor of the Year Awards recognises and celebrates the excellence of the top Dermo-Advisors in the country. Following the success of the Vichy Pharmacy-Advisor of the year 08 and 09, Vichy has launched the nationwide competition to discover the Pharmacy-Advisor 2010

Vichy Dermablend

We designed and built a microsite for the new Dermablend range, featuring product application / demonstration videos, expert advice and a store locator.

La Roche-Possay – Training

This was an event/information page to invite pharmacists to an award winning CPD seminar program. The lecture, on – Photodermatoses and Photoprotection – The Role of the Pharmacist, has already started and will run until September across Birmingham, London, Edinburgh and Manchester. National Skin Health Month

Also, the month of May is National Skin month and you can receive your very own FREE Skin Health Consultation at one of the Vichy Skin Health events – happening at shopping centres up and down the country. Check out our National Skin Health Month blog post or  visit the site to find out more.

We will be doing lots more with Vichy / L’Oreal over the coming months, so make sure you check back regularly to see it…

It’s always nice when you’ve worked closely with a client to have an opportunity to experience their products, so on Saturday I headed out to Bluewater to meet with one of the trained Dermatological nurses and have my skin examined.

I have to say, it was really interesting.

They tested for sun damage, moisture and sebum levels and following the exam, offered advice on how you can keep your skin healthy. (I even got some free samples!)

Events in Birmingham, Sheffield, Manchester and Newcastle are scheduled for later in the month, so if you can – I’d definitely recommend popping along. It’s surprising what you don’t know about your skin and how in 15 minutes, you can learn how to keep it looking great.

We have commenced a phased and gradual re-design of the site, introducing a more uniformed visual style as well as improving the overall layout, usability and site structure of the site. We have and will be employing more technical advancements to the site to aid a more user focused experience and create value to the brand.

We look forward to applying the new standards across more areas of the site from here on in.

We are busy interviewing for a tip top developer and project manager to join the family as we are growing (as per plan…) and thus have had to organise more space to house the talent – taking another 1000 square feet of this glorious building which we call home (including the fabulous butlers lounge!!) – Well we will need somewhere to put the table football.

We have had an extremely busy time pitching into some fabulous brands, some of which are looking extremely fruitful, so keep an ear to the We Love grapevine for breaking news. The big news this week is of our new relationship with L’Oreal Active Cosmetics. We are busy working on the Vichy Consult site as I type.

We have launched a few sites over the last two months and next week are due to launch a couple more… again stay tuned for these extremely wonderful and groundbreaking babies… We have produced a new brochure for an exciting housing development in Brighton for INplace and one for West Kent College (a new client of ours I am not sure we have shouted about yet).

We have continued to deliver for Mobix / Seachange. Unfortunately, due to contract I can’t share the work to date with you, but I can say that it will alter the way you consume media in the future. Very exciting and a long / strong relationship has been formed.

James has been busy defining a new breed of tweeter… strangely called a grunter… this being the cool people of the twitter world… after visiting several tweet-ups. And we are hopefully getting approval for some seriously cool virals for another of our long clients.

Gav and Mel have fallen in love with Python – the future of development – after visiting some geek fest in the big smoke.

Last, but by no means least… our new website. It will be with you soon. And yes it is going to be magical. I can’t wait!
