This cool tutorial (with images :-) ) shows you step-by-step on how to build your own computer. Ok, you may not want to build a computer… but it will help you learn how to replace parts etc. Handy tips for me in an emergency… Thanks webomagazine.

A bit too early to get excited, but looking forward to buying tickets to Flash on the Beach 09. Depending on how busy we are we might make it a We Love day off.. oops sorry day of social interaction!

Thankfully the event runs over the weekend so I will definitely make a day trip up there myself if we can’t all go. As a developer I’m always keen to pick up new tips, tricks and freebies!!!

Thought it would be a good idea to share one of our cool software/plugin discoveries (well almost new) - Vertus Fluid Mask. For all you designers out there, especially you photo re-touchers this is a fab tool.

The website www.vertustech.com provides tutorials, support and a cool gallery showing you exactly what the plugin is capable of.

Michael E. Burk. posted this example of a before and after.

It is believed that this plugin will allow you to spend more time on the enhancement of the images instead of the preparation of the image.

Having tried and tested this product myself… I can totally agree with the testimonials that have been submitted to the site. However, I would say that it took me a little while to get used to the software. I had to sit through a few tutorials till I fully understood the tools etc.

This video tutorial will help all you beginners.
