This week we launched Putney Hill for our long term client – A2 Dominion.

Tasked with creating a fully rounded campaign for a new housing development in Putney, SW15. Our responsibilities encompassed the creative process inclusive of brand initiation, concept creation and development, brochure, signage, hoarding, outdoor and other press, social media planning and implementation and last but not least – site design and technical build.

Traditional techniques for selling new developments rely heavily on promoting a lifestyle, aspiration and idealism which is personal to the prospective buyer. Our creative resulted in a campaign which uses the voice of the local residents, businesses and visitors of Putney to highlight the niche areas, best eateries, shops, unique experiences, etc which exist for prospective residents. Bringing Putney up close and personal via social channel activation such as Twitter, Facebook and Foursquare in real time.

Responsible for updating the design of the website and eDM’s to mirror the new visual language of the dotCOM for the use on some of their current templates, as well as designing and styling some new ones, our brief was to carry out a design refresh of visual language using their existing build platform to keep costs low.

The solution: an energised and revitalised site, which is perfectly aligned with the Yamaha Racing brand.

Last week, myself and Mark went along to the .net awards party at Ministry of Sound. With the promise of a free bar (tasting much nicer knowing Microsoft probably footed the bill), music and food, it was sure to be a good night. The awards themselves were presented by Jack Whitehall, who to be honest I’m not a huge fan of. In his defence he had a few good lines and got the crowd going.

As with award winners, everyone has their own opinion. Some of them I agreed with, some I didn’t really know much about and one or two wasn’t so sure about… BBC News winning “Redesign of the Year”? You can find all the award winners here. After the presentation of the awards, we spoke to a few friendly faces but it seemed some people just couldn’t bear leaving work alone… even while queuing for food.

Du wanted to enhance their site by separating the available packages on offer to subscribers. These consisted of TVoD – a movies on demand package and SVoD – an unlimited video on demand package.

Unlike TVoD which is on a rent basis and is enabled to all Du TV subscribers, SVoD packages need to be subscribed to – so it is extremely important to present the SVoD catalogues in a unique way to intice users to sign up.

To achieve this, we split EXPLORE VoD into two pages:
•  Movies on demand
•  Unlimited VoD

We then applied separate colourways to each section to provide a clear differentiation between the two as well as applying a grey colour treatment across all shared content between TVoD and SVoD.

After someone (we know not who) kindly nominated us… we were contacted by The Creative Agency Awards and asked to submit a piece of custom work for the ‘FINAL JUDGEMENT’ to these unbiased, independent and indeed secret guys and girls… The agencies (not just digital, but offline as well) that made the grade were judged on their creative over the past year and their submission to the judge. Its good to be loved.
